After a very successful season three Junior teams are in knock-out action!

After a very wet start to the season it has been a very successful season for many of the Junior teams and as section overall.
The Incrediball Team have gone from strength to strength under the stewardship of Ali Wall and Kam Patel and find themselves in the District Final against Barwell after a stunning victory over The Langtons in the South District Final. They travel to Barwell this Wednesday for the final and fingers crossed they can bring back the cup.
The Under 11 A's find themselves in the South District Final against Medbourne having gone the the entire league campaign undefeated. With home advantage this Friday night the U11's will be quietly confident of progressing to the District Final but won't be taking the visitors for granted.
The U13A's have also enjoyed a undefeated league season and find themselves once again up against CCA is the South District Final. After a disappointing defeat to the same team in the cup competition earlier on the season Tim Mason and his team will be hoping to go one better this time and beat their rivals from down the road.
The U15A's have had a frustrating season with so many games called off due to poor weather or the opposition being unable to field a team they have never really been able to get into any rhythm. However, saying that they did finish second in their league just two points behind winners Lutterworth.
Away from A team action there has been lots of action for the B teams this years. 11's, 13's and 15's all have B teams this year and all have recorded some excellent results. The B teams are crucial to the Junior section as it gives opportunities to players of all abilities to take part in real cricket matches and improve their skills and understanding of the game.
And last but not least the Kwiks who have had a great year with some wonderful Friday night games. Again Kwiks is massively important as this is where tomorrows cricketers start their journey and with so much competition from other sports it's crucial this a fun and exciting experience for the the youngsters.
A massive thanks to everyone who has helped out with the Juniors this season. From the Junior Chairman who does so much work behind the scenes to the parents who help push the covers on at the end of night on Friday (even if they aren't always as straight as they should be!) it is all really appreciated. As Junior section we are so much stronger when we all chip in and get to know one another and this season has been a great example of that.
Fingers crossed for the week and ahead and that our success continues on the pitch and please keep Friday 6th September free as this is the provisional date for the end of season presentation.
