We have been hosting a regular quiz at KCC for over a year that arrived at the clubhouse via a couple of other local pubs.

Part of taking part in the quiz, leads every player to pay £1 for entry with this money going charity.

On Monday this week, we donated £500 to GEMS charity. The charity raises much needed funds to support patients receiving chemotherapy treatment at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The money raised goes towards updating patient areas, offering patients relaxing reflexology whilst receiving their long cancer treatment and funding relaxation massages for patients when they need it most.

One of their current projects has raised over £500,000 for the refurbishment and extension of the chemotherapy suite at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

There are teams taking part in the quiz that have been taking part in the quiz in the community for many years, and we are delighted to have some of our social and playing members part of this wonderful group.
