Success on the field. Autumn Bar Opening. Pavilion News

On behalf of all of the Kibworth Cricket Club Management Committee we hope and trust you are well and have enjoyed watching some of the cricket that has been on display at our two grounds at KCC.

On the field we have enjoyed success with our 1st and 2nd XI winning their respective Groups in the Covid Cup - our 4th XI losing in their Group Semi final.

Our Women’s team have also competed extremely well this season and it had been great to see so many spectators watching some of their home Sunday fixtures.

We also are so proud to see many talented youngsters playing for the Kibworth junior sides as well as being picked for our Sunday Team.

Off the field our finances have been managed exceptionally well in challenging times by Ali Wall and the team and our bar continues to be a welcome and safe watering hole for many of our members.

Following our recent management meeting we have decided to open the bar regularly during the off season so I am delighted to confirm our Clubhouse Bar will be open every week on the following times;

Thursday - 5.30pm till 10pm
Friday - 5.30pm till 10.00pm
Saturday - 12.30pm to 7pm
Sunday - 12.30pm to 7pm

We look forward to seeing many of you down at the club over the coming months

Finally we would like to welcome the feedback of our members and we are also pleased to introduce 'Pavilion News' following some feedback regarding improving our communication to our Members.

On the last Saturday every month commencing 26th September at 10.30am, we will be providing an opportunity for any of our members to ask the committee any questions that maybe of concern or offer any advice to assist us to continue growing our great club. This initiative should assist preventing some of the whispers that seem to develop and can cause concerns for all.

We are also welcoming an opportunity to share any new ideas members may have for the running and upkeep of the club.

Pavilion News will be via Zoom and open to all Members and the Committee will take turns joining me on the call.

The passcode can be shared privately with members by request.

Once again thank you for your support and please continue to be safe.

Best regards
Geoffrey
